Funding

The Plastics Seed Grants Programs will support bold new research and creative activities that encourage collaboration with non-profit, corporate, government and academic peers. These collaborations will address complex global issue with diverse perspectives and expertise to accelerate scalable, sustainable and innovative solutions.

The initial round of grants will be up to $40,000 of direct support awarded to collaborative teams for research and scholarly activities. Funding will enable innovative partnerships and support the pursuit of external funding. In addition, these grants will enrich the university’s research and education missions and address a core question, gap in understanding, or opportunity for community engagement. We anticipate funding for at least seven seed grants.
