Meet the Staff

Division of Research and Economic Development (DRED) is launching a series of signature research initiatives in this next decade that align URI’s strengths across its campuses to tackle some of society’s biggest challenges. These initiatives are a series of COLABs (co-laboratories) intended to accelerate bold new research and creative activities by aligning local to global resources, encouraging collaboration and delivering compelling communications accessible to everyone. Plastics: Land to Sea is the first COLAB that DRED launched with help of internal and external teams of experts. DRED supports faculty leadership and infrastructure needed to grow this COLAB.
