Bruce Hooke is a website developer and artist, as well as a Senior Fellow of the Coastal Institute. He has been involved in environmental, water, and coastal issues for many years through his work with the Coastal Institute on various web development projects including an NIEHS-funded Superfund Research Program Center, the Climate Change Collaborative, Waves of Change, and the North Atlantic Coast Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit, among others. Bruce’s engagement with these environmental issues also include his 12 years on the board of the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council and his many years of work with ExploreRI.org and the Rhode Island Blueways Alliance. Bruce holds a Master of Fine Arts from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a BA from Wesleyan University.
