Bide is a textile scientist studying fibers, dyeing, printing, and the environmental impact of making textiles. His research requires a unique blending of organic chemistry of dyes and color when applied to fibers and has allowed him to work across many disciplines, exploring pollution prevention in the textile industry, infection-resistant finishes for biomedical textiles, dye analysis, and sustainability in the textile and apparel supply chain.
