Sarah Davis

Sarah Davis is a Biological and Environmental Sciences doctoral student at URI whose research focuses on building robust assessments of the movement and impacts of microplastics in Rhode Island’s marine and freshwater resources. A former professional science educator in NYC, Sarah is also founder of Mapping Microplastics, a community science program designed to engage a wide range of participant groups in hands-on microplastics sampling in their local communities using low-cost staining and fluorescence.
