“Ocean plastics is a complex phenomenon to unpack. Solutions to such a large-scale issue require an interdisciplinary approach that can address different facets of the problem. My work tackles ocean plastics from a societal perspective and explores how diverse coastal communities are impacted by them. I collaborate with a team of natural scientists to create knowledge that can address the concerns of the coastal communities.”
