Senior Vice President, Darlington Fabrics

Steve F. Perry is Senior Vice President of Darlington Fabrics, a division of The Moore Company Steven in Westerly Rhode Island. Darlington specializes in manufacturing performance warp knit textiles for the apparel, medical and industrial markets. Steven has spent his entire 23 years in textiles with Darlington Fabrics. He started in their Export Sales Department in New York City focusing on growing sales in Asia, Europe and Latin America. Steven was later promoted to lead Darlington’s growth in the active wear market when a majority of the intimate and swimwear customers started to aggressively move to an Asian sourcing model. In 2003 he was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing and moved back to his native Rhode Island to work closely with the manufacturing team to craft a business plan to increase Darlington’s presence in alternative markets due to the rapid growth of Asian sourced apparel. Steven holds a Master’s in International Affairs from Florida State University and BA in International Relations and Public Relations from Syracuse University.
